Doukoula 2025: 400 consultations and 4,000 visitors
On 19–20 April 2025, GRAOBÉ's first health campaign brought care, medicines and comfort to a long-forgotten population.
On 19–20 April 2025, the GRAOBÉ team conducted its first health campaign in Doukoula. The team covered nearly 15,000 km², reaching Doukoula, Kar-Hay and Tchatibali, and revealed the structural challenges faced by rural populations in the Far North.
Results
- 400 direct medical consultations
- Free distribution of essential medicines
- Redistribution of 500 treatments to surrounding areas
- Mobilisation of 4 doctors, 8 nurses and many volunteers
- Distribution of soap, salt, meals and basic necessities
- More than 4,000 visitors throughout the mission
