A young mother of a two-month-old baby and a passionate singer, Monique courageously shared her testimony. There was a time when she felt completely lost, struggling with addiction and deep emotional pain. At one of the darkest moments of her life, a door opened for her through Victory Outreach Recovery Home. During her year of recovery, she found faith and began rebuilding her life. Today, as a mother, singer and survivor of addiction, she dreams of becoming a motivational speaker to encourage people facing similar struggles.

“Every woman matters. We are seen, and we are not forgotten.”

Unemployed and out of resources, Diddi had travelled to central Cape Town with her daughter to ask for help on the street. That is where GRAOBÉ's founder met her, provided immediate help and stayed in touch. The encounter marked a turning point: Diddi made the courageous decision to leave a dangerous situation. Today she has a small place to stay, she is safe, and she encourages other women to keep hope.
